Fantasia does have a tendency to screech just a bit, but she has some serious talent. If they can harness her power and keep her from over singing, she could actually become a very good 'soul' singer.

She has just enough of the old Tina Turner, Carla Thomas style, and enough emotion of real gospel music to become something special. Memphis soul rules. When she sang her last song tonight, with tears streaming down her face, you could actually feel it. And that's no small accomplishment.

Then again she'll probably be taken over by the star making machine and be turned into total oatmeal.
